Show Notes

With the holidays upon us, Cathy Garcia, a Volunteer with the Colusa County Sheriff's Volunteer Citizens Unit, provides The Backpage crew with information on services the group offers. From vacation home checks to keeping our communities safe, Garcia seeks additional volunteers to join their efforts.

Jim Saso, Chief of Police of the City of Williams, provides some insight into the department, its activities, and provides some safety tips for the upcoming holidays. Additionally, Jim celebrates his 31-years in law enforcement.

Daniell Hendricks, our jubilant grave digger from the Colusa Cemetery, provides a last-minute call for donations and contributions for wreaths for deceased veterans. The effort is part of the Wreaths Across America event, and the Colusa Cemetery will hold a special ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 14.

Don't forget to catch our live stream show in preparation for the Christmas Time in Colusa. The live stream will be on Facebook, The Backpage Podcast (https://www.facebook.com/radiocolusa/), at about 1 PM on Wednesday, Nov. 27.
